With the the help of people like you and the implementation of our meals, tutoring, counseling and fundraising programs to assist schools, underprivileged children and families, Train Up A Child Ministries will be synonymous with success.
Tools for Learning
Train Up A Child Ministries believes that schools are a great starting point for education but many of our children consistently fall behind. Implementing programs that assist within the schools, after-school programs and small group tutoring is what we will focus on. These types of programs have been demonstrated to improve students performance and provide the framework for improved school performance. Children that perform well in school have higher self-confidence and better conduct as well. Train Up A Child seeks to improve learning and enrichment for disadvantaged children.
Meals for Children
A child that goes without meals and proper nutrition will never be ready to take on the task of learning and achieving. A well-fed child has the fuel he or she needs to take on the task of learning, being social and becoming the future leaders that our community needs. Train Up A Child, through its after-school programs and targeted meal programs, will work to ensure that no child within its reach goes hungry.

Education and good nutrition happen within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure children have the necessary support to do their best learning and living every single day.
